John Gibson is a ‘Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants’ with over 18 years’ experience in accounting and tax. JBG Accounting now operates from New Lambton, a vibrant village location in Newcastle and easily accessible from anywhere in the Hunter region.
Daniel Plain is a fully qualified and very competent employee who (among other responsibilities) manages and prepares a large number of the individual tax returns, as well as the business fringe benefits tax, and general accounting for clients.

We have been specialist users and promotors of the Reckon software products, and manage the accounts of over 150 clients using the Reckon products. Our focus is tending towards the online cloud based products including more recently the Xero cloud software.
John Gibson is also a JP (Justice of the Peace) available to certify documents and forms.
New Lambton Tax Return
John has 18 years tax and accounting expertise, is a keen V8 enthusiast and is an avid runner – usually reaching 40kms per week. Snow skiing and travel is a passion (especially if a Japan trip is proposed!)
Daniel is a fully qualified accountant who has been assisting JBG Accounting grow and develop a solid client base. His interests include camping, rugby league and he has been working on his Nissan Patrol for 5 years – it is nearly driveable!
